Industrial Control Systems – FIO 3 Axis Stepper Control
The Kuhnke FIO Stepper Control module allows the control of up to 3 axes with up to 128 microsteps. For each motor, it provides 2 outputs for motor phases A and B, 1 brake output, 1 input for reference switches, 2 inputs for limit switches, as well as a motor power supply in the voltage range of 12 to 48 V DC. Motor configuration can be conveniently carried out via CAN over EtherCAT (CoE). By using the Stepper Control module, 3-axis gantries can be controlled with just a single module. The Stepper Control module therefore offers a cost-optimized alternative to the function-optimized FIO Drive Control module.
